| Being from Alabama and having lived in Houston in early 80's to 1994, this place was not in a very nice section of town. But this Inn makes Houston a better place. Rooms are clean, staff are all great and the shuttle service is well worth staying here. I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN. if and when I come back. May God Bless this place ,staff and owners. | My husband and I stayed at the CareFree Inn for 13 days. My husband was going to MD Anderson for medical treatment. Everyone at the CareFree Inn went out of their way to help us. It did not matter if it was shuttle service to and from the hospital, mail service, or anything else that we might have needed. If you needed to go to the store they would have been happy to take you(not many hotels with shuttle service would do that). They went out of their way to please us. The rooms where very clean, and neat. Everything worked in them from the hair dryer, microwave, fridge, phone, heater/air conditioner, to the iron. They also have a laundry room for those of you that have to stay for an extended period of time. We are going to stay here again when my husband has to come back for check-ups..Also, we met the manager and she is a very nice person, she told us if we have any problems to give her a call even gave us her cell phone number. | I traveled to Houston for medical purposes and really was just looking for the least expensive option with a clean room. I found it with the Care Free Inn. The service was extremely good. Staff was very friendly, accomodating, and seemed legitimately concerned and aware of my circumstances and needs. Importantly, the shuttle service to-and-from the hospital complex (M.D. Anderson) was top-notch, dependable and timely. I also felt very secure and found the location to be very convenient for nearly any type of service I might be looking for i.e food, pharmacy, parks, etc. I would recommend Carefree Inn to anyone that is looking for a safe, reliable and cost-effect motel with extremely good service. | My Girlfriend is being treated at MD Anderson so we've spent more than a few nights at the CareFree Inn in Houston. While it's not to be compared to the Hilton, we found it to be clean, comfortable and a staff more than willing to make ones stay pleasant. It is a older Motel that is being restored. There's plenty of free parking. The rooms we've stayed in have been clean. The Motel offers a free Shuttle service to and from the Hospital and is located close to many Restaurants, as well as Reliance Stadium.. Plus the rates are very reasonable.
